Relationships ~ Reflection Section
Relationships ~ Health
So the point of this Film is that we get to know how to treat a partner and what to do when you find someone that you have fallen in love with, there is things that we should do and things that we shouldn't do.
The story is about some guy that has fallen in love with a Women but the Women already has a Boyfriend, but he takes her out for a date at some restaurant anyway.
So there is a lady that always that cheats at school by writing down the Answers to test and copying them and then selling them to Students to pass and get good grades on their work.
But the guy runs and sees the lady that cheats, so he asked if she could make him a love letter and when she finishes it he will give it to the love of his life, so he asked and she said "Whats the catch" and he replied with "I just want to get closer to the one I have fallen for".
So when he said that she answered with, "Are you sure your not trying to scam me" so then he offered to pay her $50 to do it and make It good so she will hopefully get to know him and stuff that will make her fall in love with him.
We haven't finished watching the film we have only gotten through Quarter of it but this is all we have watched so far.

Spiritual Slavery
Slavery
So these few weeks we have been learning about what happened when slavery was a massive things, we've listened to songs, made a My Map about where they used to be held and pushed around by the white people that didn't necessarily needed money but just wanted it because they were desperate.
We have been focusing about what happened to them during the time of Slavery and why they done those things to the Dark Skinned people that they have held against their own will, which is Disgusting!
The white people picked them up from Africa and tied them up in a boat and they travelled to multiple places around the world, the first stop that they took was The United States, they stopped there and then stayed there for a little while but they ended up moving again, But when they get put into the boat they get chained and just sit there and some of the people that are lying there can die from just sitting there and being hungry and thirsty.
Then next stop that they took was to Europe so that was one of the last stops that they took, but the hero was Harriet Tubman she was once a Slave but then she escaped but she always helped the others that were picking cotton get out of the current place that they were in!
But the saddest thing is that your kids can get put up for Auction for other White American men to use the Children as slave until they grow up and just disrespect them until they do their jobs properly.
So me and my class watched a film about Slavery and there was a video of the White Male getting a whip and hitting them around the back and make them go faster.
The things that they pick were just a little selection of things but still make them tired because they are doing in daily for hours and hours.
I've just linked a song for you to listen to Carefully, because this describes the days where the people that been put to use of Slavery in Wade in the Water.

Home Ec Yr10 2021
Today in Home Economics we did a practical revision from last week. We did the practical revision on a google slide. Every theory lesson we have to make a new google slide on the same google slides so all of our work is in the same place. We had to include what we made, what personal and food safety we used and what hygienes we used. We also had to include a photo of our finale product linked with a link to the recipe that we used. Here is the google slide that I have made.
Physical or Chemical Change
Physical or Chemical Change
( Heating Zn0 )
Hypothesis ~ Explosion = Chemical Change
Equipment ~ Sample of Zn0 ( Zinc Oxide )
Heat Source
Scale
Heat Proof Container ~ Evaporating Dish
Tongs
Heat Proof Mat
Method ~ 1. Get Same of Zn0 in an Evaporating Dish
2. Weigh the Zn0 & Container ~ Record Weight
3. Heat Container & Zn0 on Hot Plate
4. Observe any changes ~ Use phone for before & after photos ( Video? )
5. Take of Heat & put on heat proof mat
6. Let Cool ~ Observe - Photos
7. Re Weigh
Results ~ What Happened? ~ The weight of the substance didn't change at all, there wasn't a big colour change but when it cooled down it went back to the orignal colour
Conclusion ~ Explain the Results ~ The weight of the powder and absorbing the heat, never made the colour change at all so that makes it a Physical Change

The Treaty of Waitangi - Wananga
Kia Ora,
So the last week we have been watching a document for Waitangi Day, we had to pay really good attention to it because we have to write a story or a summary about what happened in the movie/film.
The first thing that happened in the film is that the Governor & The Pakeha's wrote a Treaty for the Maori's that have came across to be convinced to stay and be helped out by helping the Pakeha's, So the Māori's had the chance to speak up and say what they want about staying the the Pakeha's.
When they were up there doing their speech's there was a lot of arguing about the topic they have been force to talk about, there was a lot of debating and some of the Chiefs had a lot of good stuff to say about the Pakeha's consideration.
So they had a night to figure out what they wanted to do in the morning because they either got the chance to Sign the Treaty or go back and do what they were originally doing by there selves, but over night they came to conclusion and do some more speech's to see how they were actually feeling.
They went up there and the Governor got someone to hold Ink & A Feather in front of this piece of paper that they might consider to sign, But the thing only the Chiefs got to sign the Treaty and decide what they wanted to do and the others had to do whatever the Chief had to do.
But after they signed the Treaty everyone started to be more happy than they were and they got free blankets and Tabacco
