Cup Cakes

So today at Home Economics we made Cup Cakes and they are sitting and waiting there for us tomorrow to Decorate them with Icing and little sparkles!

The way we made them is we added Butter to the bowl and creaming it and after you cream the Butter you add Sugar to the mixture , you add a nit of milk and a bit of flour every time you have finished mixing it you add Vanilla Essence and when you finish you put it into a Muffin Tray.

Put them in for about 7 minutes on bake and then when the 7 minutes is over out it on fan bake.

In the fight scene between Julian and Jack , Camera angles are used effectively to draw the viewer into the scene.

This is demonstrated through the use of low angles , close ups and dutch tilt angles.
The low angle shot makes Jack look stronger and more aggressive , whilest Julian looks weak and vulnerable below him.

This makes the audience feel concerned , shocked , surprised because up till this point Jack has always agreed with Julian.

The director did this to draw the viewer into the event and highlight Jacks struggle to choose between being right or being popular.

Combined with this is the use of slow motion and music which helps us to see details on the characters faces and recognised their emotional reactions.

Ginger Gems / Home Eco

Home Eco / Ginger Gems.

Yesterday In Home Economics we made Ginger Gems and they weren't particularly easy to make the way that we looked at the recipe got us muddled up because we ended up reading it completely  wrong and go the ingredients wrong and our Ginger Gems didn't turn out the way that we would of wanted but they didn't taste that bad at all.

The Ingredients that we got wrong were probably the key Ingredients that we needed to get right but were got it incorrect .. at the end we put too much butter in the Muffin Tray and ended up being just goo in the middle because they were still raw , Our Teacher said to put the Oven on 200 Degrees and on Fan bake.
Some person In my group put the Oven on 200 Degrees but unfortunately they didn't put it on Fan bake!

Our Teacher tried to help us with our ones because our one was really bad from start to finish but they still turned out BAD!! 

Hopefully next time my group does better than this time.

This Is What Our One Turned Out Like .. Not As Bad On Photo But They Were Raw.

Auggie doesn't trust her a first because of Jack.

Summer stays anyway and helps Auggie.

Self Directed Learners

On Friday Last Week We Did..

Some Activities That We Chose To Do With The Whole Class, The Group Was Me , Aryan , Sonny And Paea Did This Jersey / T-Shirt Thing.

The Way This Activity Works Is That Two People Hold Each Other's Hands And You Have To Try Put The T-Shirt On The Other Person Without Letting Go Of Them.

We Did Lots Of Activities , We Did About Three Activities The Games Were .. 

1. Ping Pong

2. Water Balloon
3. Cup Rope

How The (Ping Pong) One Works .. It's Just Beer Pong But No Liquid In Them , The First One To Get All The Cups Out Of The Way (By Getting The Ping Pong Balls In The Cup) Wins!

How The (Water Balloon) One Works .. You Have To Throw A Water Balloon To Your Pair (Buddy) And When You Catch The Balloon You Need To Move Back One Step And You See How Far You Can Go , Not Really A Competition!

How The (Cup Rope) One Works .. For This One It's Kind Of Complicated Because They're Strings Hanging Tied Together And When You Pull The Bit In The Middle Expands And Then You Have To Move The Cup To The Other Table And Make A Pyramid With All The Cups!

Long Jump.

1. Run up is 21 steps.
2. Take off will be from the second marker
3. Land will be measured from the back foot
4. Land with both feet together
5. If you are over the second marker when you jump it is a foul jump.

High Jump.

1. Land with your arms and your feet facing up. Land on your back.
2. When you take off it should be on 1 foot 
3. When you leave the ground you must spin around and use your knee to turn.

1. Hold with 3 fingers, use your thumb and small finger to balance it.
2. Keep your arm up when you throw.
3. Lock your wrist.
